The WARN Act
Sometimes incorrectly referred to as "The WARREN Act" The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN Act) is a federal law that requires certain employers give workers proper written notification at least 60 days in advance of the proposed mass layoff, or facility shutdown.
