WARN Act Lawyer David Tufts

David practices labor and employment law with an emphasis on class claims under the WARN Act and labor relations under the NLRA. He also represents Taft-Hartley pension, welfare and apprenticeship plans under the LMRA, ERISA, and MPPAA.

David graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2004. He graduated from the Howard University School of Law as a Merit Fellows Scholar in 2008. There, he earned awards in alternative dispute resolution, equal employment law, labor law, and legal writing.

David served as a judicial intern for both Magistrate Judge John E. Ott (USDC NDAL) and Judge Joseph L. Boohaker (10th Judicial Circuit of AL). He also clerked for Mooney, Green, Baker & Saindon, P.C.

David is admitted to practice law in all the state courts and U.S. District Courts in Alabama. He has also appeared and represented clients in matters pending before U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts outside of Alabama and the Region Fifteen office of the National Labor Relations Board.
